McMillan Drilling successfully tendered for the construction of the abstraction and re-injection bores for the Christchurch Arts Centre Air Conditioning Project. This project is under way and consists of constructing multiple 300NB abstraction bores to depths of 140mbgl and multiple 300NB re-injection bores to approximately 70mbgl. Given the substantial heritage value of the site, a number of specific measures will be undertaken to protect buildings and ensure the work is sympathetic with the surroundings.
